About this item

  • Standards: UL & cUL Listed for Damp Locations IP20 rated. CEC Title 24 & ADA Compliant.
  • Fully enclosed remote power supply with knockouts and clips for line voltage wiring. Soft start, short and overload circuit protection features. For use with WAC Lighting Basics & Gemini Tape Light systems.
  • Smooth and continuous dimming with an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer. Dimmers should always be installed on the primary side of the transformer.
  • Input Voltage: 120VAC, Output Voltage: 24VDC. Available in 60W and 96W options.
  • Secondary wiring for Class 2 transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. Suggested low voltage wire type (Sold separately): 14 - 18 guage stranded or solid. Non-metallic sheathed cable may be used for secondary wiring in walls and ceilings.
  • 1W Minimum power requirement for low-load LED configurations. Class 2 transformers, designed to be intrinsically safe, limit the current draw to a maximum of 5 amperes. Comes with a 72-inch lead wire for Basics & Gemini models; additional longer lead wires (T24-BS-EX2) are available for purchase separately.
